need some advices guys.....is the airport far from the center of Manchester ?
is there a bus going from the airport to the center or is better to take a cab ?
The Airport is about 8 miles from the city centre Anthony. A taxi is quite costly (£20) and time consuming. If I was you I'd take the train to the Piccadilly Station which is a five minute walk away from the Ibis. They run every 8 mins from the airport and will cost you less than £5.The buses are full of window lickers, so I rarely use them I hope this helps m8.
yes it does Andy.....thanks,that's excatly what I wanted to know
Trains to Manchester Picadilly
Andy, I presume Picadilly is the main station for me coming down from Scotland ( Dundee, Edinburgh , Preston, Manchester )?
I've planned this.Stagecoach, Manchester Airport to Manchester, Service 43 / 43N
Edit : This one stop just in front of the B&B I booked...
Victoria, Oxford Rd and Piccadilly. You'll be Piccadilly I guess from Edinburgh. What time you landing ?
I wasn't referring to you as a winder licker by the way Marie , my humblest apologies 🤣🤣🤣Where abouts are you staying ? I'm in the Copthorne Hotel near the football ground so will have to get the metro into town.
No problem Andy, though I'm a bit strange sometimes
I'll be a bit far from the center, Less noisy I think, and cheaper. I think I'll take a taxi for the way back, probably more secure than the bus during the night.
Personally, I think you should arrive on roller skates.
All going well 13:30 - 14:00 ish. Depends on my mate getting me a cheap train ticket.Same hotel as Anthony.
