I’m not a massive Tool fan or as familiar with them as much as yourself, but this sounds pretty good to me.
It ok. On first listen i thought it plodded along without doing too much.
On 2nd listen (through decent headphones) i enjoyed it much more with sounds coming from all over compared to listening on my mobile phone built in speakers.
Probably need a few more listens to fully appreciate and to be able to give a verdict.
However, i’m not keen on getting over familiar with individual tracks, so will wait until the album comes out and play the whole thing.
