I like it after first listens, some very catchy tracks there and I love especially Don Airey’s performance.
I think it is excellent. Plenty hooks, performances and production are top drawer.
May have to give this a go. Last DP album i bought was Perfect Strangers.
I know all bands have line up changes but i struggle with the idea of Deep Purple without Ritchie Blackmore.
Its very good, but could have easily lost a couple of filler tracks.
I love Ian Pace’s drumming, not too technical, it just has great feel .
Riverside - Acoustic Session EP
It was so great surprise yesterday to hear a new Eels song. I guess there’s a new album coming, don’t yet know when. E doesn’t usually give much information beforehand which is fine by me, it is nice to be pleasantly surprised!
Pendragon - Love Over Fear
Is this mainly instrumental ?
I’ve got the 1st two Long Distance Calling albums which i kind of like but very rarely play. Stopped buying as the instrumental albums begin to sound a bit samey after a while.
Just saw your ‘what did you youtube today’ post. Yes, i like that.
Long Distance Calling - Satellite Bay
Yes mainly insrumental (vocals on 1 track and some talking on another).
The YouTube song just came up on my timeline, quite like it
Of the albums featuring Steve Morse I would recommend -
Purpendicular
Abandon
Bananas
Any of the Bob Ezrin produced albums
Porcupine Tree - We Lost The Skyline
Seriously? Is he on alcohol free?
