Listeninng to SAHB yesterday. This was in my head this morning.:grinning:

So yesterday would have been Freddie’s 70th birthday. Still the greatest Rock frontman to ever grace a stage.

Did you ever see him live Paul ?
I was very lucky to be at Knebworth on The Magic Tour, it might have been Queens last live performance with Freddie?

No Andy. Wish I had.

I second this! I was to far in the east. And Budapest was no option for me.

From Barrowlands in Glasgow. Big Country`s last gig with Stuart Adamson in the UK, May 2000. I was there.

No idea, to compare Herbert with a guy from the UK…

Is that gig available on CD Lawrie? - Would have loved to have been there.

Yes Paul. The 2cd , "Come Up Screaming. Amazon for around £20 ( used ) or on Ebay where cheapest I could see was around £12 from someone selling in Germany. A new copy on Amazon costs silly money.

What is it with Big Country Cds on Amazon being so expensive ? A new Buffalo Skinners cd is stupid money as well !!!
By the way Lawrie/Paul thanks, because it sounds brilliant, I always thought the band lost their way a little after The Seer but this sounds as good as the first 3 albums by the band.

They lost their way with Peace In Our Time, but Buffalo Skinners and Driving To Damascus are as good as anything they did.

You could also add “Why The Long Face” to those two.
