Sorry to hear that mate, but I think your making the right decision, I would be more concerned about your mum, and it’s good that your looking after her.
Hopefully we will get a chance to meet up again mate, don’t stop posting here though or else Andy will end up as top poster and we couldn’t have that lol…:rofl::beer::+1:

Let’s hope the gig goes ahead as the bluray included in the deluxe version of Weltschmerz is due to have live video taken from the Edinburgh gig.

All UK gigs now cancelled
Fish’s statement on Fb.

With the impending UK government decision to cancel all ‘mass gatherings’ and after discussion today with my promoter we have decided to postpone all UK touring with immediate effect.

This means that tomorrow night’s show at Holmirth will not be going ahead and all the UK shows in March are postponed and will be moved to future dates which as yet have to be determined. I’m sure you’ll appreciate that with the current chaos around the entire live music industry rescheduling is not an easy task and it will be at least December until we have new dates in place.

I’m sorry for those of you who have already made travel arrangements but I think most people will be glad that this decision has been made. The fast developing situation has dictated this change of plans and to be honest I am relieved to come off the road as although we had a fantastic night in Aberdeen last night the surrounding stress on all of us was immense. Apart from the 2 glorious hours on stage it was a highly uncomfortable experience for all concerned.

All tickets bought for the March UK shows will be valid for the rescheduled dates and I will get more information to you as soon as I can.

So sad for all the company who were about to meet each other and enjoy what would have been a wonderful moment and a great gig !

All the best my friends

RESCHEDULED DATES

My promoters at Gig Cartel have just moved a mountain and have the following rescheduled dates to announce. All tickets bought for the recent shows that have just been postponed are valid for the new dates and tickets are still available for the rescheduled shows with Exeter going on sale tomorrow.

FEB 2021
Sat 13 Manchester Academy 2
Sun 14 Cardiff Y Plas
Mon 15 Brighton Concorde 2

Wed 17 Exeter Phoenix
Thurs 18 Wolves KKs Steel Mill
Fri 19 Frome Cheese And Grain

Sun 21 Islington Assembly Hall
Mon 22 Islington Assembly Hall
Tues 23 Northampton Roadmender

Thurs 25 Bury St Edmunds Apex
Fri 26 Holmfirth Picturedrome
Sat 27 Edinburgh Queens Hall ( sold out)

They are later than we would have hoped for but as you can imagine everyone who has lost shows is trying to reschedule just now. With the current Covid 19 situation around for a while this is the earliest we can replace the gigs and the safest bet.

If you can’t make these rescheduled dates please do not contact me about any refunds as I have nothing to do with ticketing and you will have to contact the venue/ promoter or ticketing agency.

At least it’s not in December as I probably wouldn’t have been able to go. Let’s hope this whole feckin thing has become a distant memory by then.

Hotels are changing terms easier to amend bookings because of the virus. We have a Non-Flex reservation at Premier Inn and they now say this on their website: “You can now amend Non-Flex bookings for stays arriving between now and 30/04/20, and re-book for future stays at any of our hotels, subject to conditions and availability.”

SAS also gives now the right to change flights even to the end of March 2021 including the ones which were not originally amendable.

I’m afraid I cancelled too soon to get a refund from Travelodge. I booked my room on a savers rate, so wasn’t entitled. - I reckon if I’d left it uncancelled, I might have got my money back, but what’s done is done now.

Think i’ll be putting myself on the Queens Hall waiting list for this. There must be a good chance of some tickets being returned to the venue with this change of date.

Also Scotland are playing away in rugby 6 Nations that weekend so hotels should be easier / cheaper to book.

I have changed the Thread title  .

Tickets for the gig still valid. And I have to check to change flights and accommodation to 2021.

Why? I started this thread. Couldn’t it wait Ulli?
Or I could 've done it. Nevermind. I’m pissed off tonight.

one year to wait…again ???

I reckon this thread should have been left for the pissed off and the ranters.

We could have started afresh for next year’s gig. It’s too far off.

Sorry Zaz, I have change it back. Please decide in your way. I’m out of it! :open_mouth:
