By the way has everybody managed to get a refund for their aborted trip?
Spoke to British airways who will give me a full refund for my plane tickets. Marie was told she’ll get a refund for the flat we were gonna share too.

Yes luckily I have been fully refunded for my train tickets, due the the trains being cancelled.
Full refund on my Premier Inn booking, but will re book for February when I can .

I too have Premier Inn refund. My chauffeur will be fine if I ply her with wine tomorrow night.

I have received full refund from Premier Inn about a week ago. Although I got 25 euros less than I paid, probably currency value changed. For the flights SAS will give a voucher for the value I paid and it can be used for any flights until the end of November.

At least we don’t have anywhere to go tonight (well, who has nowadays…), but since we travel two hours ahead which means that we’ll be at midnight when UK is only at 10 pm and I don’t usually stay up late, I myself can’t see this very late, but anything goes and we’ll see.
