A lovely sunny afternoon in London, I’m so excited about tonight’s gig.
jealous too…enjoy your evening Andy and don’t forget to tell us about it

Big Country Acoustic Show tomorrow night here in Dundee.
Just.at the interval, the first set was Hand Cannot Erase in its entirety - absolutely superb sound and visuals…
What a brilliant concert, I won’t ruin it for Steve (who’s going tomorrow) but one of the special guests was someone who I have a lot of respect for - Opeths Mikael Akerfeldt who.guested on one of the songs.
Say what you want about the gig, it won’t spoil things for me. I’ve seen the set list (Steven Wilson Concert Setlist at Royal Albert Hall, London on September 28, 2015 | setlist.fm), plus Tuesday is a completely different show.
Always said that the album should have been played from start to finish on the HCE tour but it was mixed in with other songs.
Also would have liked to have seen Ninet Tayeb singing on Routine. On the tour they used prerecorded backing for the female vocal parts.
When it was announced that guests would be appearing i thought Mikael Akerfeldt might play, though Storm Corrosion stuff isn’t my favourite. Maybe he’ll turn up again for tonights gig.
Glad you enjoyed.
I was quite surprised that the gig last night and maybe tonight’s ?? was not filmed for a future dvd release though .
Don’t you usually film it all?!
Put it on a disc!
I think I’ve read somewhere that Lass Hoile himself said it won’t be filmed
…too bad imho

I’ve previously heard that cost of filming in RAH is very high. Perhaps a double live cd release.
Right i’ve been on the lash since 11. Just 3 hours until Steven Wilson.
It’s a frigging Porcupine Tree gig.
And looks like Ninet Tayeb was there

And Guthrie Govan. No other guests though - think too much was made of who may turn up. Fantastic gig Just could have done with a couple of hours more. .
Forgot we also had Gavin Harrison and Theo Travis.
It looked brilliant from up in the heavens , visually during the watchmaker .
