Some gigs coming up

Ricky Warwick can still cut it and probably even better now than then between Black Star Riders and solo stuff, but I know what you mean too.

Dammit! Train tickets and hotel to Tampere booked (and paid) and now this:

That’s bad luck Lauri!

No chance of refunds, or are you going regardless?

I think we’ll take the trip anyway. No chance for refunds, the hotel was a cheap Black Friday offer. The train tickets might be possible to change for another day but I don’t where to change.

Just so I can shout abuse from the audience!!
Only Joking, he did say in an interview though that they’d play the whole of “weather systems” so it would be worth it for that alone, we’ll see.

Haunt The Woods supported when I went watching BBT in Manchester. They grew on me as their set went on.

I saw that interview. Gig split into 2 sets. Set 1, the whole of Oceans Without A Shore, set 2, the whole of Weather Systems.

From that poster it doesn’t seem like the whole of Weather Systems will be played, just a selection of Anathema songs

Worth a look then .

I know nothing about Weather Systems why should I like them/go and see them?

Do you know/like Anathema ?

I’m tempted by this. Only 2 hours on the train from my new house.

The alternative is Bristol but they are playing the Thekla which I hate as a venue, having seen Anathema play there a while ago.

Vaguely know the name but don’t own anything. Always happy to go and see “new” bands

Do you want a ticket for Billy Joel?

Well Anathema was always a good gig, but this is his new band that has never performed live together, so a bit of an unknown.

What’s Vincent up to lately? The talented one.

Not liking it tbh
