Well a bit unsure before attending this one but good songs are good songs whatever style they`re in. The best part though was when Sarah my 9 year old said, “Dad they are a million times better than One Direction because they ( the Script ) are a proper band.”

However Tinie Tempah as a support act? Well that was another story entirely

There must be some mistake,
All these gigs are in Germany !!!

Went and saw Rick Wakeman last night, funny as you’d expect and musically entertaining. Supported by The Cadbury Sisters - check them out.

Next weekend I get my stetson and cowboy boots out and head to the O2 for the Country to Country festival.
Yee Haw !

Primarily to see Lady Antebellum, however a lot of the artists are massive in the US and can fill arenas like the O2 on their own. People like Jasaon Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Florida Georgia Line etc

Just internally debating whether to go and see CSN.

Thoughts? Anyone seen them before?

Was just having a conversation last week about the artists that I would still like to see that I have never seen before. I have seen most bands I would ever want to see.
Top of my list was Paul McCartney.

And what do you know. Tickets went on sale for MAcca gigs today and I ve just bagged myself a couple !

And for anyone who thinks that he is not worth seeing just take a look at one of his most recent set lists.

Must admit Andy, I know a few people on here don’t like The Beatles. Hate them even. - I’ve recently been listening to some of my old Beatles CDs, which I haven’t played for years. Really been enjoying them again, and looking at the material with fresh eyes. Such an amazing body of work, considering the short time they were actually in existence. - I guess when a band has been talked about and critiqued as much as they have, some people can get a little sick of hearing about them. Maybe that plays against them sometimes. Don’t think you can fault what they managed to achieve though.

Incidentally, I actually walked down Penny Lane a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, the shivers went up my spine. The barbershop is still there!

Not sure I would pay silly amounts to watch Paul McCartney, or anyone, but if it’s on your bucket list, do it! Expect a write-up on here after you’ve been!

The Beatles were such a huge influence on all the music that followed.
Most of the bands and artists that I like cite the Beatles as major influences on them and the reason that they started being musicians.

I cant believe that its taken me so long to see McCartney.

I told my sons that I had 2 tickets today and they were literally fighting for my spare ticket.
Even they understand how important the Beatles were.
As not to show favouritism I got a third ticket.
I hope my bank manager isnt looking too closely at my bank account !
