Ron Sexsmith - Cobblestone Runway
Love the Brits. Any sign of sun and out comes the barbie.
Not yet, would you recommend it ?
Itās not earth shattering but it is catchy with a few standout songs. Iāve only listened to it a couple of times but I really like it. Itās not getting great reviews in the music press (but after reading a couple of them, the negativity seems to be more to do with JDās personal life than the music itself and the reviewers canāt seem to separate the two!).
Live At The BBC - Thin Lizzy
What is it with Supperās Ready? Itās completely disjointed, musically and lyrically. I havenāt got a clue what itās about, if anything, but listening to it is like a religious experience! 3 times on repeat today. I find the ending euphoric.
I find it interesting that these classic bands (especially Prog bands) have at least one of these tracks. Recalling the time Fish finally got around to performing Grendel again. It was far from being one of my favourite Marillion tracks, until I heard it live. Even though it wasnāt a perfect rendition by a long shot, again it was almost religious!
