Just thinking about this, the band didn’t hang about after Bon Scott’s death did they ?

Bon Scott died February 1980, and Back In Black released just 5 months later.

Just reading on Wiki, Brian Johnson was offered the AC/DC job on 29th March 1980, giving just 4 months to write all the lyrics, rehearse and record all the songs, prior to releasing one of the greatest rock albums ever (and they’ve never come anywhere near matching it since).

That’s some acheivement, especially compared to the length of time between album releases these days for most bands.
