Picked up a bunch of CDs at the BBT gig on Friday. Started working my way through them. But find myself listening to each one multiple times before moving on to the next because I enjoyed it so much and can’t believe the next one will be as good … but it is!
Really wish I had bought a few more of the others available.
Currently listening to English Electric Part Two (again!)
The 2 English Electrics are brilliant. Not a duff song on either of them I think.
I’d also recommend Folklore (which you’ve already got), The Underfall Yard, Grand Tour and Grimspound. Grimspound is a grower though, and took a bit of time to click.
I haven’t really connected with some of their earlier albums yet, pre David Longdon, apart from The Difference Machine. I doubt I’ll be listening to Bard again.
The last 2 albums they made before David passed have some good tracks on them, but overall they’re not their best offerings.
