Listened to a really interesting podcast tonight on Stonehenge, other stone circles and who created them. A pre-Druid race, who by all accounts were far more advanced than we give them credit for. Archaeologists have even found remnants of medicines in pots that date from when they think it was created. They were even extracting oils from mistletoe, which is still used in cancer treatments. Current research seems to suggest the kind of knowledge in medicine and astronomy that was completely lost until the Victorian era. Pretty amazing really.
