After Gillan split John McCoy released a mini album “McCoy” in 1983
This features a version of " Oh Well." Singer was a guy called T Bone Rees.
Album also featured a song called, “Because You Lied.” This was McCoys dig at Ian Gillan after Gillan allegedly walked out of Wembley Arena after the final Gillan gig, in December 82 and didnt pay the band or crew. Claimed the band split initially due to his voice problems at the time, only for him to join Sabbath a few months later.
