There is a whole host of upscaled concerts on YouTube if you haven`t already seen them. Also a new Stuart Adamson Memorial webpage. All supported and endorsed by the family.
Yeah, I subscribed, but itās not often I check in to see whatās been uploaded. I hadnāt seen that Just A Shadow video for years.
Love this, new album coming up in March.
Jessie Reid who I saw last night
I have absolutely no recollection of this song whatsoever. I must have been asleep when they released it. Certainly not from an album.
Correct Paul, not an album track. Came out as a single around the time of No Place Like Home / Through A Big Country ( hits package ). I have a 12ā picture disc of this.
Was it on Through A Big Country?
Checked and it doesn`t appear to be, although Save Me is. I had thought that both were stand alone singles.
Half the band did a couple of acoustic shows to promote the album. I knew this track would hold up well acoustically. Itās pretty much a folk song anyway.
This song is one of many highlights on the album. Her vocal lead is so good.
Not something I would generally listen to at home, or buy, but I keep getting recommended Coverdale stuff on YouTube (for some reason). Canāt deny he was a bloody great performer.
Watched a very well done fan-made documentary on the making of the Genesis album Wind and Wuthering earlier. Really interesting. - Itās always been my favourite album of theirs. Even with the inclusion of those admittedly weaker tracks. But for Tony Bankāsā controlling nature at that time, it could have been so much better when you look at the quality of Hackettās songs that were left off.
Of all the albums Genesis made, Iād love them to get together and not just fully remaster it, but look at the track listing and order and reinstate those songs from Spot The Pigeon.
The whole gentle acoustic middle section of Eleventh Earl Of Mar was from a completely separate Hackett song. Put it on. I want to hear everything.
