Not had much of a chance to listen to music much since Glasgow, but I would say I have been enjoying all the traditional Xmas hits from the 70’s & 80’s on the works radio, while getting a little emotional but reminding me of great and happy times when my Mum & Dad were still here. It really is a rollercoaster of emotions at this time of year.
It’s been wall-to-wall Christmas music at my workplace too Rab. Some of it does my head in, but there are lots I like too. Very fond of Chris Rea’s Driving Home For Christmas.
Agreed Paul, some the stuff does my head in to, especially these so called wannabe remakes of the traditional Xmas songs/hits every one of which I think is utter crap IMHO.
