@Arcade not sure if this is available in the UK… I just got an email from the BBT merch store about a sale. Picked up these 3 for nearly half price.
The sale included all CDs and vinyl.

I’ll have a look. Doubt they’ll have the few that I’m still looking for.
Will be streaming the Daron Malakian one tomorrow.
And the Zappa one is a classic which I’ve owned for many years ![]()
Sure is, I have had it on cassette and vinyl but now ordered a second hand CD and a T-shirt with the same image as on the album cover. ![]()
Picked up a couple of second hand Paul Weller oldies this past weekend, The Style Council GH and the solo album 22 Dreams. Plus found a new copy of the album A Kind Revolution. I’m gradually filling the gaps of his back catalogue in my collection.
I was never a big Paul Weller fan, with the exception of his time in The Jam. Then a couple of years ago I saw him perform the track , “ Shades Of Blue, “ on TV. I think this is one of his best tracks. As a result I bought “ Fat Pop. “ “ Find Eldorado “ is a contender for album of the year this year. A really great record.
On Saturday past I took some old stuff down to the local CD & Record Exchange place. I was able to pick up a new copy of “ Fly On The Wall, “ a B-sides & Rarities album he put out in 2003. Also a few weeks ago got an old CD copy of “ Modern Classics, “ the old greatest hits package. All this after years of not bothering it is like finding somebody new to listen to. Having said that I can safely say that I never liked the Style Council, which is probably why I always largely ignored his output following on from there.
Totally agree. His last 4 or 5 albums since True Meanings have been fantastic.
I’ve never really listened to them before, except the odd song that came on the radio back in the day. I paid a couple $ for the CD so if it’s crap it will go on the crap albums shelf.
I was a big Paul Weller fan, going back many years, but I found myself drawn to only listening to 2 or 3 of his albums, despite me owning practically everything he’d done up to that point. I ended up passing many of his albums on to friends and relatives. Think I only have Wild Wood and Stanley Road now.
I actually prefer his tenure in The Style Council over The Jam. Had many of both band’s albums over the years.
Up with the Lark this morning. Myself and Frances took a jaunt over to St Andrews for a wander. Happened upon a Record & CD Fair. Got the 2018 remix for £5.
Didn’t you fancy a round ![]()
