Finally caved-in and ordered the super-deluxe and very expensive The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway remaster. 17 percent off on Amazon’s Black Friday deals and paying the cost in instalments.

I don’t generally bother with remasters anymore, but this is a special case.

I’ve downloaded the new album Gento by Biosphere (Steve Rothery & Thorsten Quaeschning) and I quite like it, though I can’t help wishing that it has some vocals somewhere on it!

I listened to this the other day. Enjoyed it for 60 seconds or so and then he started to ‘sing’ !!!

I’ve.read plenty of reports that his voice isn’t great anymore but I was shocked at how bad it was.

And apparently they’ve mixed this album to make him sound better :scream:

I read a few bad reviews too, commenting on the same things - the vocals and poor production. I didn’t think it was that bad tbh when I listened to it on Apple Music. I put it on my Christmas wishlist.

Bought these two last weekend.

This one arrived from England in the mail today.

Featuring members of Danny Wilson and Deacon Blue this is Dundee band, Swiss Family Orbison. This album has only taken 26 years to get a physical release. It came out today and album launch gigs have been this week in Edinburgh and Glasgow. They play Canvas, Dundee tomorrow.
