Contender for album of the year.
Giant Sky - Giant Sky II
I know we all hear things differently, but to me this is simply magnificent. I also know I am quick to judge. However this release has been building the whole year. I thought I might have reacted with, " Yeah, it`s here at last," after the monthly release of tracks in tandem with lunar cycles, but no. Hearing it in full on my stereo has been the best way for me to hear it. So glad I took the leap in June and splurged on those gig tickets. Didnt know it was a bucket list event until I was in the moment.
I think it might be more of a grower with me. Played through about 5 times now and it’s obviously really solid, but I’d say I only love about 3 or 4 tracks and the rest I’m not connecting with at the moment. Will possibly feel differently in a few weeks.
Black Mountain - Destroyer
Andrew Ostler - Inns Of Molten Blue

Just realized whilst listening in the car that the track running order on the digital version is different than the vinyl
