I also realized that I must be going f’ing senile because I have actually seen him play live on the Kings & Thieves tour in 2013 (supporting Whitesnake) and it completely slipped my mind until tonight. I remember it now because the venue was way too big and more than half empty and he came on the stage at the beginning of his set and offered to shake everyone’s hand for showing up.
The first 3 are right up there and admittedly whenever I feel the urge to listen to Oasis I always grab one of those 3. But I would say that the latter albums are consistently good too. Not at the same level but all have great songs. Listening to them all again back to back reminded me just how strong their catalogue is. Standing on the shoulder of giants is their 13th Star and one I could live without!
