I have never been to an indoor gig with such an early start since the Fish convention at Leamington in 2012

Nice but £35 (£40) to stand to see them is shocking really !!??
I think i paid £8 when i first saw them on Back Street Symphony?

I’ve ‘won’ a ticket on the Robin2 quickie quiz to see Geoff Tate tonight, not really sure what to expect!
Should be good. He’s playing all of Queensryches ‘Operation Mindcrime’ - 30th anniversary tour.
I think I know one Queensryche song, so it’ll be a different experience for me
I got dragged to a Queensryche gig once.
Ozzy, GnR, VOLBEAT, Shinedown and Greta Van Fleet would be a great bill. The rest… meh!
Not sure I could survive three days … but put those bands on the same day and I would be happy!

Yes, the original ‘one day’ monsters of rock
I did my first one in '83 when Whitesnake headlined. Went to everyone up to '92 and then it went to 2 stages (and i think i stopped going then - though not too sure, it’s all a bit of a blank).
I then had a massive break before returning in 2011(???) for Prodigy / Metallica / Black Sabbath and not been back since (even though i promise myself every year that i will go back).
