Great review Keith, good to see you again at the end of the gig.
RAH gig being filmed for future release
That little known John Lennon b-side.
The Wonder Stuff & Ned’s Atomic Dustbin - Glasgow ABC on Friday.
Bit of a 90s throwback, but very good; The Stuffies are always good value live (especially at £7 per ticket!)
Not music but went to Michael McIntyre in Cardiff on Saturday.
Magnum at Symphony Hall last night - just fantastic and really enjoyed Rebecca Downes as support
Frank Turner - Liquid Room, Edinburgh on Saturday
You can just see my bald head & glasses bottom centre of the first photo.
Brilliant. Everyday I miss living in the UK for the amazing choice of gigs I could go to.
What did you think of it ?
I’m going to see them on Saturday in Cardiff.
Much the same, International Blue is a top song and works really well as an opener, the acoustic bit was a bit dull for me but the others appreciated it. The audio sound stage was huge with three guitarists and keyboards. There was no encore for us, but other nights they have done so, but the setlist has been the same for both options; odd!
I’ve never seen them do an encore before, I just assumed they were a band that never did or am I getting mixed up with someone else ?
Didn’t think they’d ever done encores. They just play the set and goodnight.
Er pass, I was just judging that by setlist and a review of a gig a few nights before
