Glasgow 2025

I know some conversations have already taken place in the ‘Fish Final Tour’ topic but thought I’d create this specifically for Glasgow.

I’m currently looking at sorting my flights so just wondering what plans people have.

I’m going to both the Sunday and Monday gigs. Looking to have Saturday in Glasgow as well (a morning flight up from Bristol), staying in the Artto Hotel, then fly back on Tuesday.

What’s everyone doing ?

Anyone else staying on Saturday as well ?

Still not sure. I’m only at the Sunday gig. Have booked the hotel for Saturday night, but it’s too early for me to say if I’ll only be getting up there late evening. Could potentially be working Friday nightshift so will need a sleep in the morning.

I don’t have much choice with flights. Only one EasyJet flight from Bristol on the Saturday which gets me to Glasgow at 9am.

I do have the option of a similar time flight on Sunday but quite fancy being in Glasgow on the Saturday to see all the sad Scots after Wales sort them out in the rugby  :wales:

We’ll be up on the Saturday afternoon, think there are about 15 of us now staying at The Social Hub Hotel for the 3 nights , doing both the gigs.
Regarding travel its still not booked yet its probably easier for us to get a train up than fly. . .

I’m hoping trains are straightforward from where I live. Haven’t booked yet and don’t even know the cost of a ticket.

Like I said, I’ll be up on Saturday, but no idea of times until nearer.

I don`t know what I am doing today never mind next year. Doing both gigs. In same digs as Andy and some of the others.

Hi all,
Thanks for this reminder.
I havent booked the hotel yet.
I’ll check the hotel mentionned above.

Plan is to fly into Birmingham on February 28th, see The Blues play on the Saturday and the Sunday gig in Nottingham.

Will spend that week driving up to make the Aberdeen gig on the Friday, which includes the game against Bolton and a night in the Lakes District.

Then driving down to Glasgow for the Sunday/Monday gigs.

My return flight back to Australia will be Thursday.

All the way from Australia to watch Birmingham lose (twice). People never fail to amaze me

Looking likely that I’ll be on a train now and not flying. Mid Wales to Glasgow around 6 hours with 3 changes on the way - what could possibly go wrong :star_struck:

Depending on which train I catch I should be in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon between 12:30 to 14:30.

Just been having a look this morning at train ticket prices. Looking at about £104 return. Will book this weekend.

Yep Train booked got a direct return to Stafford for myself and the better half Saturday/Tuesday :+1:

We come through on the Sunday. I will be a busy boy before then between the Aberdeen gig on the Friday and trying to squeeze in meeting with my Welsh mates on the Saturday for the rugby.

Just booked my train. Arrive Saturday 3:15pm. A little later than planned but the earlier train was more expensive.

It’s getting close now :star_struck:

We would have preferred from Saturday to Tuesday but the flight connections were impossible on Saturday. We fly first from Kemi to Helsinki and then to Heathrow where we have to go from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 for the Glasgow plane. Long day travelling but I believe it will be worth it!

We booked a room from Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow. Seems quite close to O2.

Are you seeing both gigs Lauri? I can’t remember.

You can guess if you read that we are leaving on Monday before noon.
