I love Suzi Quatro. I wish I could see her live. She’s from Detroit but has been based in the UK for a long time now. She still tours over there but I live in hope that she plays one last time in her birth city.
She played the Palladium, yesterday I think. A friend went.
Taylor Swift @ Rogers Centre, Toronto
The scale of this show and the energy inside the building is insane.
The 5 hour drive from home yesterday and back again today was exhausting but totally worth it, especially as I got to go with both my daughters this time.
Your last photo looks more like a Slayer gig
My god, she must be raking it in. I bet she’s making more money than all the others currently touring put together.
Quite possibly…
“There are 152 shows total on the Eras Tour, spread over five continents. Taylor Swift is expected to earn more than $2 billion just from ticket sales. Her overall revenues from the tour might surpass $4.1 billion when other revenue streams like merchandise are taken into account.”
“Taylor Swift reportedly earns about $13.6 million for each performance.”
In awe of Mike Peters and his ability to perform to the high standard he did whilst engaging in treatment for Cancer. Absolutely fantastic,
Big Country haven`t had their troubles to seek recently. All I can say is on the evidence of tonights gig they are well worth going to see. New additions are a breath of fresh air and collectively they are playing like a band who enjoy it. A great night.
Johanna Kurkela (Auri, Altamullan Road, Eye Of Melian) singing Christmas songs in Kemi church with Troy Donockley (Nightwish) and Johanna’s brother Timo.
Troy was even singing backgrounds in Finnish songs!
Christmas songs - don’t they realise it’s only November
I blame it all on Premature Treejaculation myself.
I had a case of this today. Not ashamed.
Andy, is this the gig you went to ?
Steve Rothery Band - Live in Cologne
Yes , cheers for the head’s up
Lovely review, Keith.
Fantastic live band
The Temperance Movement at Glasgow Barrowland - Wednesday 9th April.
I have been to many, many gigs at the world famous Barras and this was up there with some of the best. Hopefully this resurrection of TTM isn`t a flash in the pan and doesnt implode. The band were magnificent, powering through material from all 3 studio albums, most of the set focussing on their debut album. There is an atmosphere like no other generated within this venue. Now if its walls could speak they would tell some stories.
Geoff Tate
His voice is just amazing. His band were … meh! (Except ‘Sister Mary’ who was great) At times it felt they were just going through the motions. It goes without saying that the songs were awesome!
I remember now
I remember how it started
I can’t remember yesterday
I just remember doing what they told me
Great photos as always.
